Cayin Officially Launches the N8iii Flagship Reference Digital Audio Player

Cayin proudly announces the official launch of the N8iii, our new flagship reference digital audio player.

Inspired by the philosophy of “Honoring the Classic, Beyond the Classic,” the N8iii represents a new milestone 

in Cayin’s portable audio development. It combines Cayin’s long-standing expertise in vacuum tube design with 

a new generation of digital and analog engineering, delivering a flagship-level listening experience for discerning

 music lovers.

The N8iii is built around Cayin’s 6th Generation Nutube 6P1 vacuum tube audio circuit, featuring a fully balanced 

implementation that offers exceptional tonal richness, musicality, and flexibility. Users can select between Classic 

Tube Timbre, Modern Tube Timbre, and Solid-State Timbre, making it possible to tailor the presentation to different 

preferences, genres, and headphones.

To further expand its sonic versatility, the N8iii introduces Triple Amplifier Modes: Class A+, Class A, and Class AB. 

Together with Dual Power Modes — Standard Power (P) and High Power (P+) — as well as the dedicated Hyper Mode, 

the N8iii is capable of delivering both refinement and authority across a wide range of portable and full-size headphones.

At the digital stage, the N8iii adopts Cayin’s new flagship AKM DAC architecture with AK4191EQ ×2 and AK4499EX ×4 in a 

per-channel mono, fully parallel configuration. Supported by a fully balanced 4-channel discrete headphone amplifier, 

a customized multi-rail power supply system, and carefully selected premium components, the N8iii is engineered to 

achieve outstanding clarity, dynamic contrast, low noise, and precise spatial imaging.

The N8iii also offers a complete flagship user experience, including Android-based Hi-Res streaming, Snapdragon 665 with 

8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, support for up to 2TB microSD expansion, 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced outputs, 

line out and pre-out functions, USB / S/PDIF / I²S digital outputs, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, a 6-inch FHD+ display, 

and a 13,500mAh battery.
